Hello Everybody…..

Welcome to our first edition of the Hills Blog. This will be a regular event with offers, updates and useful information that could help you save time and money!

It’s also an opportunity for you to ask us any questions or provide feedback you may think would be useful for us to. We are always open to any suggestions!

Scrap Cars for Charity

We would like to kick off our jam packed, information fuelled blog series with the launch of our latest scheme : ‘Scrap Cars for Charity’

  • Has your car reached the end of the road?
  • Do you have an old car sat on the drive?
  • Has it been relegated there as you use a newer car, gathering leaves and cobwebs?
  • Maybe your car is breaking down as it gets older, or maybe you bought a project car and somehow just never had the time?

Whether the end of your car came by natural causes or by premature means, we can help by taking your End of Life Vehicle (ELV) and you can help by donating the proceeds to a local charity.

What is the scheme?

Hills have started a new scheme where you can choose to take the money from scrapping your car or you can choose to give it as a donation to a local charity.

Go on why not help someone in a time of need, as the vehicle will just be sitting frosting and defrosting over Christmas, you have nothing to lose and a chance to do something good.

Hills have three local charities they are associated with, Vitalise Sandpipers, Claire House Hospice and Wigan & Leigh Hospice. If you donate, 100% of the fee will go to the charity you pick.

A certificate of Destruction will be put against your car and the parts recycled to help the environment.

Recycle, Donate & Help

The local charities we support:

Vitalise Sandpiper, Southport, www.vitalise.org.uk
This charity provides short breaks and well deserved respite for disabled adults and their carers.

Clair House Children’s Hospice, www.claire-house.org.uk
This Hospice offers respite for children and young adults up to the age of 23 with life limiting conditions. The hospice’s philosophy is to enhance the quality of living for the child and offer a high quality individual care for the children and their families.

Wigan and Leigh Hospice, www.wlh.org.uk
Their aim is to provide a better quality of life for local individuals with life threatening illnesses.

Thanks for taking your time to read our 1st ever edition, and we hope you will be here next time for a catch up!
